Where shadows meet neon.

Chris Cote, known in the shadows as Longfire, is a New Jersey-based Art Director, Neon-noir Photographer, and Production Graphic Designer with two decades in the creative field, spanning publishing and visual storytelling.

By day, he operates as an Art Director in the comic book industry, overseeing the design and production of comics and graphic novels for Zenescope. He has produced over a thousand digital and print publications, including titles from major licensed properties.

By night, under his moniker Longfire, he explores the urban landscape with his Sony camera, capturing the streets in a cinematic blue, cyberpunk-meets-film noir aesthetic. In 2019, he launched Neo-noir: Philadelphia, a solo gallery exhibit showcasing his work on acrylic glass—reflecting the city’s grit and futuristic tech noir atmosphere. Since then, he has expanded his photography portfolio to include several cities throughout North America, such as Boston, Los Angeles, Montreal, New York City, Toronto, and many others.

Chris is formally trained in the arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, having majored in illustration. He is a lifelong cyberpunk and tech enthusiast, an avid listener of electronic music, and has a background in martial arts. Check out his curated cyberpunk-themed playlist, Night City, featuring over 2k tracks.
